The Italian brings extensive experience to Tech3 as a Moto2™ race winner and MotoGP podium finisher. Marini made his debut in the premier class in 2021 - having finished the 2020 Moto2 season as runner-up - and has since established himself as a consistent and respected competitor at the highest level.

Marini’s move to Tech3 will mark the end of three seasons with Honda HRC Castrol, having joined the factory Honda squad in 2024. His race craft and adaptability will now prove crucial for Tech3 as MotoGP enters its next era in 2027, with the introduction of new regulations and machinery.

The 29-year-old’s arrival will also align with a new chapter for Tech3 and KTM, as the team enters the next phase of its partnership with the Austrian manufacturer from 2027.

For Marini, the move to Tech3 represents an opportunity to begin the new MotoGP era with a fresh challenge and play an important role in the team’s ambitions for a competitive future in an exciting chapter of the sport.
