Launching off the penultimate race of the 2020 MotoGP World Championship season from the fourth row of the grid, Red Bull KTM Tech3’s Miguel Oliveira delivered a stunning start, moving from 10th to fifth on the opening lap of the race.
Red Bull KTM Tech3’s Miguel Oliveira will start the penultimate race of the 2020 MotoGP World Championship season tomorrow at 14:00 local time from P10 on the grid. The Portuguese delivered a strong FP3 this morning by grabbing ninth in order to make it straight to Q2. A few drops of rain around the Circuit Ricardo Tormo hampered the proceedings in Qualifying. Nevertheless, Oliveira did his fastest lap around the Spanish track with a 1:30.781 to miss out on the front row by just 0.368 seconds.
Following a ten days quarantine in his Andorran home, after he had been in close contact to his brother and assistant, who has been tested positive for the Corona virus last week, Iker Lecuona was travelling to Valencia this early morning in order to compete in FP3 and the rest of the Gran Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana.
